Branding Introduction

I hope this will be less painful than cow branding, but I am having doubts!

I have been battling trying to start this blog for months now. I start to write and end up writing a new version of an introduction because I cannot lock down a theme or direction for this blog. Every time I would sit down to write, the variety of themes would paralyze me. This would result in staring at a computer screen without direction and inevitably, I would end up writing crap.

I have found a lot of great information on branding in general, and even some thoughts on how to identify my brand. However, I could not find an effective process to help me through this.

In effort to help me identify my brand – and hopefully – develop a process that would be beneficial to you as well, I am inviting you to join me on the journey.

Before we get started, feel free to check out the About The Hudson or read one of the many introduction posts I have written!

I am formatting this as part of a series, so please grab the RSS feed and tag along. In addition, if you have suggestions, tips, criticisms, just want to say, “Hi,” or if you would like me to link to you please leave a comment. I would like to this to be interactive. I know there are many people struggling with similar problems, and I would like to pass on any relevant information we come across.

I will address some questions in the comments sections. If the questions are more in depth, require some research, or a longer answer, I will add it as a post to this series. I will provide links at the bottom of each post to reveal the sources of my research. As I said before I have found a considerable amount of fantastic information and would like to recommend the sites I have discovered. Please check them out!

I think we are ready to get started, remember to bookmark this page <CTRL/D> and/or get the RSS feed. If you know of anyone that may be interested in reading about branding, please forward my address to them, thanks in advance!
